Hello
I’m Esme.I’m fascinated by the natural world and consistently inspired by Mother Nature.
I bring these inspirations to life predominantly using dried flowers and ethical taxidermy, I’m in awe of the fragility but also the resilience of flowers and our natural world and love to create thought provoking and ethereal dreamscapes representing this to transport the viewer on their own personal journey as they immerse themselves in a piece of my work.
My three dimensional work further inspires my watercolour exploration and smaller collections of one off textile and free motion embroidery pieces, which I love to share with collectors too.
The foundation of my creative career began with an apprenticeship in the tattoo industry in 2007, Im proud to still practise tattooing alongside my other creative outlets in my private garden studio, making completely bespoke and mainly floral pieces of work for my clients.
New to 2024, I am excited to open my studio to small groups of women for The Creative Collective- a beautiful space to meet like minded souls and connect whilst exploring creativity in a relaxed and exciting way.
